The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism has announced the success of the "Egypt Alive 365" promotional campaign, which was launched by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion during the summer season. The campaign aimed to promote Egypt as a tourist destination within the Arab market, and it achieved positive results in terms of engagement and reach among the target audience across various social media platforms.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Sherif Fathy, emphasized the importance of promotional campaigns and the ministry's commitment to leveraging digital tourism marketing, particularly social media platforms. He highlighted the effectiveness of these modern promotional tools in reaching the target audience easily, ultimately achieving the desired results. These campaigns play a crucial role in promoting Egypt as a tourist destination, showcasing its diverse tourism products, patterns, resources, and experiences.
Campaign Results: High Engagement and Reach
Amr al-Qadi, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, revealed that the campaign, within its first six weeks, achieved positive engagement and reach among the target audience. Notably, in Saudi Arabia, the campaign garnered a 28 million engagement rate and reached approximately 143 million users. In the United Arab Emirates, the campaign secured an engagement rate of 9 million and reached approximately 44 million users. Kuwait witnessed an engagement rate of 3.5 million and a reach of 44 million users. Qatar experienced an engagement rate of 2.5 million and a reach of 18 million users. Bahrain recorded an engagement rate of 3 million and a reach of 26 million users. Lastly, Jordan saw an engagement rate of 3.5 million and a reach of 16 million users.

The "Egypt Alive 365" campaign's success demonstrates the potential of digital marketing strategies in promoting tourism destinations effectively. It highlights the growing importance of social media platforms in reaching a wider audience and achieving measurable results.
