Opera for Android Adds AI-Powered Image Recognition Feature
Opera has been incorporating various AI-powered tools across its web browsers. In its latest update, the company focuses on Android users, introducing a new feature: image recognition. This feature allows users to gain context and details about the images they view or capture on their phones.
Enhancing Aria, Opera's AI Assistant
The AI image recognition feature is integrated into Aria, Opera's AI assistant. The update also brings a significant change to Aria – users no longer need to log in to use it. They can now generate AI images based on prompts or sketches. Opera offers up to five free image creations without requiring login.
Simplifying Sharing and Switching Browsers
Beyond image recognition, Opera has added other features aimed at simplifying content sharing and browser switching. Android users now have access to a new QR code sharing feature. They can generate a QR code for any webpage, allowing friends to access it easily by scanning the code.
Opera has also made improvements to facilitate switching to its browser. Users can import passwords from Chrome, simplifying the transition process. The update includes new themes inspired by Opera One, featuring modern backgrounds and colors that add a vibrant look to your phone, aligning with the Opera desktop experience.
